NameDrop is a fresh AirDrop feature that simplifies the exchange of contact information between iPhones. Want to watch a movie or start a game with someone who has an iPhone? Just bring two iPhones together to initiate SharePlay! Facilitating content and file transfers between devices has never been easier. You can even use Apple Watch to join in on the fun!
FaceTime now offers a broad range of Reactions to make your conversations even more enjoyable. How to Install iOS 17 Beta?
Currently, iOS 17 is exclusively available for download to developers, however, Apple recently made an exciting breakthrough by allowing free access to developer betas! All an aspiring developer needs is an Apple ID to avail the perk.
Don’t jump right into it though! While we can provide you with instructions on getting developer beta access, it is not advisable to install on your primary device. These betas are prone to instability and glitches, with some apps even malfunctioning for months!
With its release, iOS 17 welcomes all newer iPhones, starting with the iPhone XR and iPhone XS models, into its compatible fold. On the flip side, iOS 17 marks the end of iOS 16 support for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X – only newer models can upgrade to the new OS.
